Step Away From the Routine. Return With a Different Perspective.

More Than an Escape

A retreat creates something everyday life rarely provides: enough distance from routine to notice what has become difficult to see.

Well@Retreats are psychology-led immersive experiences designed to create space for reflection, meaningful conversation, human connection and a shift in perspective.

Each retreat brings together evidence-informed psychological insight, professionally facilitated group experiences, restorative surroundings and time to pause. The purpose is not to escape life, but to return to it with greater awareness, clarity and intention.

Because sometimes we need to step away before we can see differently.

Four Retreat Experiences

Four distinctive experiences. Different areas of exploration. One psychology-led approach.

At Well@, our retreats are anchored in four pathways: ACE, SHIPS, MIND, and AWE. Each retreat focuses on one root while always weaving in the others because growth is never one-dimensional.

The SHIPS Retreat

Exploring how we connect, change and move forward.

The ACE Retreat

Understanding what shaped us without allowing it to define us.

Mind.jpg

The Re-MIND Retreat

Creating space to question the stories and patterns that keep us stuck.

Awe.jpg

The AWE Retreat

Rediscovering perspective, curiosity and what still has the power to move us.

The SHIPS Retreat

Relationships influence how we understand ourselves, experience belonging and navigate the different stages of life.

The Relation-SHIPS Retreat creates space to reflect on the patterns, expectations, boundaries and experiences that shape our relationships, with partners, families, friends, colleagues and ourselves.

It is relevant to people navigating relationship change, transition, disconnection or a desire to understand how they connect with others more deeply.

The ACE Retreat

Early experiences can influence how we respond to pressure, relationships, authority, conflict and uncertainty long into adulthood.

The ACE Intelligence Retreat provides a psychologically informed and carefully facilitated opportunity to understand the continuing influence of formative experiences.

The focus is on awareness, perspective and choice, not on requiring participants to revisit or disclose personal trauma.

The Re-MIND Retreat

Our minds organise experience through beliefs, assumptions, habits and familiar narratives. These can help us navigate life, but they can also limit how we interpret ourselves and the situations around us.

The re-MIND Retreat explores thinking patterns, perspective, mental flexibility and the possibility of responding differently.

Through guided reflection, facilitated conversation and experiential activities, participants create space between their automatic responses and their future choices.

The AWE Retreat

The pace and demands of everyday life can narrow attention until we see only what is urgent, difficult or incomplete.

The AWE Retreat explores the psychology of wonder, perspective, attention and meaning. It creates opportunities to reconnect with nature, curiosity, creativity and experiences that remind us that life is larger than our immediate pressures.

The intention is not constant positivity. It is the ability to pause, notice and reconnect with what expands our perspective.

The Well@Retreat Experience

Every Well@Retreat is carefully curated to balance psychological depth, human conversation, immersive experience and personal space.

Depending on the theme and location, a retreat may include:

  • Psychology-led facilitated conversations

  • Evidence-informed learning and reflection

  • Individual reflective time

  • Small-group experiences

  • Creative and experiential activities

  • Nature-based experiences

  • Optional movement and restorative practices

  • Journaling and personal reflection

  • Time to rest and use the venue’s facilities

  • Carefully selected guest professionals

  • Curated accommodation and meals

The programme is structured while allowing enough space for participants to rest, reflect and experience the setting.

Specific activities, facilitators and inclusions are confirmed for each retreat before registration opens.

Professionally Curated and Facilitated

Well@Retreats are grounded in psychological theory, contemporary research and clear professional boundaries.

Each retreat is curated by a multidisciplinary team of psychologists and appropriately qualified specialists selected according to the retreat theme, participant group and location.

Facilitators follow an agreed programme structure and shared Well@Life standards to ensure that every experience is professionally delivered, ethically considered and consistent with the purpose of the retreat.

A Clear Boundary

Well@Retreats are developmental, educational and experiential. They are not a substitute for psychological treatment, medical care or group therapy.

Participants are never required to disclose personal experiences or take part in an activity that does not feel appropriate to them.

Where a retreat engages with psychologically sensitive subject matter, it is approached with care, appropriate professional facilitation and clear referral pathways where additional support may be required.

Retreat Locations

Well@Retreats are hosted in carefully selected regional and international settings that provide comfort, privacy, natural surroundings and space for meaningful reflection.

Locations, accommodation, meals, programme inclusions and travel arrangements vary according to each retreat and are confirmed before bookings open.

Private Retreats for Organisations

Well@Life also curates private immersive experiences for corporate, healthcare and education organisations.

These retreats create dedicated space away from normal organisational demands for leaders, teams and professional groups to reflect on purpose, relationships, culture, leadership and the way they work together.

A private organisational retreat may focus on:

  • Leadership and values in practice

  • Organisational purpose and alignment

  • Trust and workplace relationships

  • Team connection and communication

  • Change, transition and uncertainty

  • Human sustainability

  • Professional identity and meaning

  • Strategic reflection and perspective

Every organisational retreat begins with a discovery conversation. The programme, facilitators, location and experience are then curated around the organisation’s context and intended outcomes.
